The LIBRE Initiative is a national non-profit and non-partisan organization with a chapter in North Carolina and field offices in the Research Triangle and in Charlotte.

Jeffrey Baldwin, strategic director for The LIBRE Initiative, issued the following statement:

“Despite massive headwinds from Washington policies, the Latino community in North Carolina is thriving. But more must be done to ensure that all North Carolinians – including Latinos – are able to live out their version of the American Dream.

LIBRE is proud of our agenda because we have bold plans to help grow our local economy while allowing families to have more choice in education and health care. Our agenda represents our belief in people and the idea that those closest to the problem are best equipped to find solutions.

We look forward to mobilizing our volunteers and activists and stand ready to work with lawmakers, from both sides of the aisle, to make North Carolina an even better place to live.”
