Senate Should Vote on House-passed Right to Try Bill
(Washington, D.C.) – This week the House passed legislation to ensure that terminally ill patients have the right to use drug treatments that remain in clinical trials, but have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Sponsored by Representative Fitzpatrick, the bill passed the House by a bipartisan vote of 267-149. The bill is similar to legislation that passed the Senate last year.
