State Lawmakers Should to Accelerate Tax Reform for all Arizonans

The LIBRE Initiative stand ready to mobilize for Pro-Growth Economic Policies
(Phoenix, AZ) – Today, The LIBRE Initiative, an organization committed to empowering the Hispanic community, issued a statement urging state lawmakers to accelerate tax reform and get more of their hard-earned money back now.

Fernando Gonzales, community engagement director for The LIBRE Initiative in Arizona, issued the following statement:

“Despite what some would like to have us believe, this tax relief would reduce the state personal income tax rate to 2.5% for ALL taxpayers, including those currently in the lowest tax bracket. At a time when all Arizonans, including those in the Hispanic community, are feeling the brunt of inflation, every dollar that we are able to keep matters tremendously.”

Gonzales went on to add:

“We urge lawmakers in Phoenix, including Gov. Ducey, to prioritize tax relief without delay so that Arizonans are able to save, spend, and invest their hard-earned money as they see fit. We should not delay the benefits of last year’s historic accomplishment to simplify the state’s tax code and reduce income taxes for all Arizonans.”
