Wadi Gaitan is the Communications Director and National Spokesman for The LIBRE Initiative. He began his career with LIBRE in September of 2016. Prior to joining LIBRE, he served as Director of Communications for the Florida Republican Party. Previously, Wadi worked as Press Secretary for the U.S. House of Representatives GOP Conference focused on Hispanic Media.

In the 2014 mid-term elections, he served as Congressman Carlos Curbelo’s campaign Communications Director. Previously, Wadi worked on the press team for Mitt
Romney’s presidential campaign. He began his career by working in California for Rep. Jeff Denham. Wadi holds a bachelor’s in communications with a minor concentration in journalism from the University of Maryland. He is Honduran-American, born and raised in PG County, Maryland.
