Nacido en Guatemala en medio de una guerra civil, Jeffrey creció en un ambiente marcado por la incertidumbre. A temprana edad, su madre tomó la difícil decisión de emigrar a los Estados Unidos, en busca de un mejor futuro para su familia. Este sacrificio, aunque doloroso, fue un acto de amor puro que más tarde se convertiría en la base sobre la cual Jeffrey construiría su vida.
