ARLINGTON, Va. — The LIBRE Initiative today announced the relaunch of Sabor a Freedom, LIBRE’s national video podcast, featuring a new English-language format, refreshed branding, and Judy Pino, LIBRE’s award-winning Brand Marketing Strategist and National Spokesperson, as host.
Since 2024, Sabor a Freedom has featured stories of Latino leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who reflect the values of freedom, opportunity, and the American Dream.
The new season opens with a conversation featuring Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz, who made history in January 2025 as Florida’s first Hispanic American woman elected sheriff, the first woman elected sheriff of Miami-Dade County, and the county’s first elected sheriff since 1966.
During the episode, Cordero-Stutz reflects on the importance of civic responsibility, shares personal stories about growing up, discusses her favorite Dominican meal, and talks about her goals as sheriff. “We can all start by being good citizens,” she says.

Judy Pino, Brand Marketing Strategist and National Spokesperson for The LIBRE Initiative, issued the following statement:
“Every American Dream has a story. Our goal is to inspire listeners through authentic conversations with Hispanic leaders who have overcome challenges, broken barriers, and are making a positive difference in their communities and beyond. Their stories remind us that freedom and opportunity continue to open doors for generations of Hispanic Americans who are a growing influence in our nation.”
Podcast listening continues to grow among U.S. Latinos, with English-language programming representing a significant share of listening habits. The new format is designed to reach a broader audience while maintaining the cultural perspective that has defined Sabor a Freedom since its launch. As part of the new season, the series travels to communities across the country, giving listeners a closer look at LIBRE’s work in its 13 state chapters and more than 30 cities nationwide.
New episodes are released every Wednesday and can be watched or streamed on YouTube (@TheLIBREInitiative) and at SaborAFreedom.com.
