Sabor a Freedom Launches Second Season to Resounding Success

(Arlington, VA) – The LIBRE Initiative, the largest center-right Latino organization in the country, kicks off Season 2 of “Sabor a Freedom” (Taste of Freedom) its award-winning Spanish-language podcast. “Episode 1 of the season, “Politica, Cerveza y Latinos, released Wednesday of the season released Wednesday, features the CEO of LIBRE, Jose Mallea, a Latino entrepreneur, influencer, and political operative whose dedication to the Latino community and strong commitment to the principles of economic freedom are unparalleled.

Mallea’s journey is as inspiring as it is impactful, with a career that spans decades of political experience starting in his hometown of South Florida to serving in the White House under President George W. Bush. Today, Mallea is driving economic growth in his community as the founder of Biscayne Bay Brewing Company in Miami, FL where the podcast takes place.

“Economic freedom is not just about financial success; it’s about giving people the tools and opportunities they need to achieve their full potential. It’s about creating an environment where everyone can thrive,” said Mallea.

Since its launch this spring, Sabor a Freedom (SaF) host Cesar Grajales has interviewed inspirational Latinos including award-winning chef Patti Jinich, Grammy-award-winning Colombian musician Jorge Villamizar, and Cuban American Episcopal priest world-renowned on radio and television, Padre Alberto Cutié – just to name a few.

SaF has quickly amassed a loyal following taking listeners on a journey highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience of influential Latinos who embrace freedom and opportunity as the way to make our country stronger.

In June, SaF was acknowledged for exceeding industry standards with a Gold Viddy Award, one of the top accolades for digital content for S1 Episode 2 featuring Dalia Leal, founder of “Damas de Blanco” (Ladies in White), a Cuban opposition movement in Cuba founded by wives and other female relatives of jailed Cuban dissidents.
