Daniel Garza, Executive Director of The LIBRE Initiative released the following statement:

"For more than five years this Administration has experimented with an economic strategy based on trying to generate economic growth through more government spending. It is still not working. The American people recognize that - it's why they overwhelmingly disapprove of the President's handling of the economy.

There are bipartisan proposals for job creation and economic growth that Congress and the President can act on together. Many in Congress favor reforms to simplify the tax code and lower rates. The House has passed legislation to give a better understanding of the cost of government Regulation . There is also bipartisan support for approving the Keystone XL pipeline, which would create thousands of jobs at no cost to the taxpayers. It's time to look at these and others ideas, and to work with Congress on measures that allow American entrepreneurs to prosper and create jobs."
