Celebrating Monet Bacs and her Journey with LIBRE

Monet Flores-Bacs is The LIBRE Initiative’s Strategic Director for the great state of Arizona. Monet’s father immigrated from Guatemala in search of a better life for his family. After Monet lost him at 22 years old, she struggled to find a positive direction for her life. Then, she found LIBRE. Through the work she does at The LIBRE Initiative, Monet is bringing her community together, and empowering them to achieve their American Dream. Monet’s father came to the United States to seek a better life, not knowing that his choice would change an entire community for the better.
