Statement from LIBRE President on Assassination Attempt of Former President Donald Trump

Arlington, VA — Today, The LIBRE Initiative released the following statement from Daniel Graza, president of The LIBRE Initiative, on the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump:

“We condemn yesterday’s attempted assassination of President Trump in the strongest terms. Violence in disagreements is never, ever the answer – it violates every principle of who we wish to be as a society of free people. We must be a nation that values freedom of thought and expression, but also a nation and people that doesn’t turn to acts of violence. Our nation’s future must be shaped by the strength of our ideas and principles. Our prayers are with the victims and the families impacted by this tragic incident.”
