The LIBRE Initiative, the nation’s largest center-right Latino organization, has launched a $1.8 million cross-channel marketing campaign titled “Quiero Ser LIBRE” (“I Want to Be Free”), inspired by its new organizational anthem. The anthem song reflects the mission LIBRE has championed since its founding in 2011: empowering Latinos to achieve their unique American Dream through freedom, opportunity, and prosperity.
The campaign includes digital and linear paid media in Florida markets such as Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, where LIBRE has active chapters. As part of the campaign, LIBRE will also debut its Spanish-language video podcast, “Sabor a Freedom” (“A Taste of Freedom”), hosted by Cesar Grajales, on Mega TV (Spanish Broadcast Systems) Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET and Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. ET, and on La Nueva Poderosa 990 AM (Salem Broadcasting) Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. ET and Fridays at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Sabor a Freedom launched in 2024 to tell the stories of Latinos that have faced ultimate challenges in their fight for freedom. The podcast streams on YouTube and other podcast directories.
The campaign also looks ahead to America’s 250th anniversary of independence, with upcoming videos highlighting how Latinos continue to strengthen and enrich the fabric of America through hard work and entrepreneurship.
As Latinos continue to grow in both numbers and influence, they are seeking policies that reflect their values and aspirations. LIBRE stands out as the only trusted organization with a proven track record of advancing the time-tested principles of American freedom in Latino communities nationwide, so Latinos can thrive and prosper.
The “Quiero Ser LIBRE” music video highlights the journey of Latinos pursuing a better life launching businesses, raising families, and giving back to their communities. It also features LIBRE staff and volunteers actively engaging with their neighbors and advocating at state capitols across the country for policies that matter, including the extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, school choice, and efforts to safeguard economic prosperity.
Many Latinos still believe in the promise of a brighter future in the U.S. yet feel that dream is slipping away. “Quiero Ser LIBRE” is a rallying call for Latinos to embrace America’s founding principles of freedom and make the American Dream their own.
