Largest Center Right Latino Advocacy Group in North Carolina Praises NC Budget

RALEIGH, NC — Today, The LIBRE Initiative, the largest Latino center-right organization committed to empowering the Latino community, strongly applauded members of the North Carolina General Assembly for approving a budget that includes increased educational freedom and tax relief for many North Carolina taxpayers.

“North Carolina’s growing Latino community stands to benefit from increased educational freedom and tax relief – two important provisions included in the state’s budget. Polling shows that Latinos strongly support the idea that parents should exercise educational freedom and customize and education plan that works best for their child. And by being able to keep more of their hard-earned money, more North Carolinians – including Latinos – will be able to save, spend, and invest as they see fit.
