The LIBRE Initiative hosted its Georgia Culture, Quinceañera, and Capitol Connect event at the Norcross Cultural Arts & Community Center, bringing together Latino families, community leaders, and elected officials to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and LIBRE’s 15th anniversary.

The evening highlighted the rich culture and traditions of Georgia’s Latino community, featuring cultural dancing, live music, and a Venezuelan buffet, while also creating an opportunity for attendees to engage with leaders on the issues shaping their communities.
Congressman Rich McCormick (GA-07) joined the celebration as a distinguished guest, speaking with attendees about the importance of ensuring Latino families have the freedom and opportunity to build a better future. The event also brought together Georgia leaders and community members to celebrate the continued growth and contributions of the state’s Latino community.

Stefanie Zaenker, Strategic Director at The LIBRE Initiative, issued the following statement:
“Reaching 15 years is an incredible milestone for The LIBRE Initiative, and we are proud to celebrate it alongside the Latino community here in Georgia. Our work has always been about empowering individuals and families with the freedom and opportunity to pursue the American Dream, and events like this remind us why that mission matters.”
The celebration was part of LIBRE’s ongoing efforts to engage Latino communities across Georgia and create opportunities for meaningful conversations about freedom, prosperity, and the issues that matter most to Hispanic families.
