The event featured food, entertainment and opportunities for families to come together and celebrate the culture, traditions and contributions of the Hispanic community. Representative John James joined the celebration as a guest speaker, engaging with attendees and highlighting the importance of the Hispanic community in Michigan and across the country.

Congressman John James issued the following statement:

“I believe the American Dream should be about enjoying the journey of building the life you want in this country. It’s about working hard, growing, taking risks, learning from failure, trying new things, and pursuing the goals you set for yourself.

As elected officials, it is our responsibility to break down the barriers that stand in the way of everyday Americans so they can thrive. Hardworking Americans should have access to the opportunities and resources they need to build their lives on their own terms and experience what true freedom means.”
