The Bidenomics Four: Senators Who voted for Inflation

Bidenomics - The LIBRE Initiative

September 12, 2024

President Biden’s administration gave his economic policies a pet name–Bidenomics.

However, Biden cannot take all the credit for these disastrous economic policies. His allies in Congress followed his lead and passed legislation that brought more inflation, more debts and deficits, higher cost of gas, lower wages and more layoffs, and an increased belief amongst Americans that the American Dream is no more.

The president cannot act on a whim; the Constitution, thankfully, forbids him to do so. To pass his $5.5 billion (about $17,000 per person in the U.S.) in new spending, Biden needed the support of Congress, and, unfortunately for Americans, he got it.

Biden convinced his friends in Congress to pass the American Rescue Plan, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the CHIPS Act and the Inflation Reduction Act. These laws created inflation and made it worse.

There are four senators who were crucial to Biden’s passage of these laws. Thanks to their votes, life for all Americans is more expensive, and the economy is less prosperous.

Food is 20% more expensive today than it did in early 2021, gas prices have gone up, and the average American family will pay more than $12,500 by the end of the year just to maintain their quality of life.

Latinos know all too well the disastrous consequences of Bidenomics, which is why 71% disapprove of Biden’s job on the economy and 79% say the economy is on a bad track.

This is the “Biden quartet” that voted for Bidenomics and against your pocketbook:

Senator Jacky Rosen of Nevada

Senator Rosen is fully on board with Bidenomics, voting in favor of all Bidenomics bills. Although she has only served one term, Nevadans have had enough. Thanks to Jacky Rosen and Bidenomics, the average Nevada household pays:

– $3,514 more in food than in January 2021.

– 5,830 more in housing than in January 2021

– 5,157 dollars in energy than in January 2021

– 9,935 in transportation than in January 2021.

The cost of Jacky Rosen’s support for Bidenomics is a whopping $28,980 for the average Nevada household.

Senator Rosen takes no responsibility for her actions and blames businessmen for inflation. But it is the government, not businesses, that creates inflation.

Senator Bob Casey of Pennsylvania

Senator Casey voted for all four Bidenomics bills, increasing government spending and making your life more expensive. Thanks to his votes, the average Pennsylvania household pays

– $3,115 more in food since January 2021.

– $3,358 more in housing since January 2021

– $3,033 more on home energy since January 2021

– $6,636 more in transportation costs since January 2021.

Bidenomics dug a $20,591 hole in Pennsylvanians’ pockets, and Senator Casey held up one of the shovels.

Pennsylvanians are no fools; they know their lives are more expensive thanks to their senator and Bidenomics.
