These are things people think of when talking about the American Dream — the idea that hard work, drive, and determination can lead to success. For generations, this dream wasn’t a fantasy but an achievable reality.   

Today, however, the American Dream is in danger. 

Nearly 9 in 10 Latinos in America think the next generation is going to have a harder time achieving the American Dream.

Prices have skyrocketed in recent years.  

Onerous regulations are bleeding small businesses dry.   

Our traditional education system leaves many young Latinos locked out of the education they need.  

We can’t let the American Dream die with us; our children and grandchildren deserve the opportunity and freedom to build prosperous lives.  

That’s where The LIBRE Initiative comes in.  

For over 14 years, LIBRE has been building a nationwide grassroots army dedicated to policies that give Latinos more freedom and allow them to build a prosperous future for all.

If we want to ensure the American Dream is alive for generations to come, we must free Americans’ entrepreneurial spirit and remove the harmful government barriers keeping us down.

• Ensuring Latinos have the freedom to choose the education that’s best suited for their children. You and your children are unique; your education should also be unique.  

• Eliminating unnecessary regulations that are keeping millions of Latino-owned businesses down, killing thousands of jobs in the process.  

• Protecting your wallet from a massive tax hike. Taxpayers shouldn’t foot the bill for Washington’s reckless spending.  

At LIBRE, we’re rallying our massive grassroots army to defend freedom and protect the American Dream from destructive government policies.  

We work hand-in-hand with lawmakers in Washington and state capitals across the country to push for policies that give Latinos the freedom to build a future for themselves.

You don’t have to travel to Capitol Hill to see how LIBRE is working for Latinos. We’re embedded in countless communities and neighborhoods across America.  

We’re not here to tell Latinos what to think but to listen to their concerns and help them overcome the barriers keeping them from thriving.  

How do we do that? 

We connect thousands of Latino families with the benefits of freedom-oriented policies like school choice.  

We hold hundreds of events in over a dozen states, mobilizing Latinos around freedom-oriented policies that bring prosperity and improve the lives of all Americans.  

Our partner organization, The LIBRE Institute, teaches Latinos how to run their small businesses with financial literacy classes nationwide.  

The Institute also provides English as a Second Language classes to thousands of Latinos, giving them the tools to thrive in America.
