(Harrisburg, PA) – This week, The LIBRE Initiative, an organization dedicated to empowering the Latino community, began running billboard ads in and around the Harrisburg and central Pennsylvania area, thanking U.S. House Rep. Scott Perry for supporting the Working Families Tax Cut Act.

The measure, enacted last summer, will save the average Pennsylvanian family around $2,400.

Jennie Dallas, LIBRE’s strategic director, issued the following statement about the billboard ads:

“Although there are signs that the economy is improving, many Pennsylvania Latino families continue feeling squeezed.

The good news is that Pennsylvanians have policy champions in Washington in the form of Rep. Scott Perry, who voted in favor of the Working Families Tax Cut Act, which will extend critical tax relief to Pennsylvanian families.

These billboard ads are a great reminder to Pennsylvania’s growing Latino community that Rep. Scott Perry is looking out for taxpayers and taking steps to help grow our local economy.”

The billboard ads are located on S. Cameron and Elliot Street (Riverside) Harrisburg, PA, while the one in York, PA is located at 151 E Princess St, York, PA 17401.
