Arlington, VA (6/23/25) – The LIBRE Initiative applauds today’s passage of H.R. 1679 – the Global Investment in American Jobs Act of 2025- by the U.S. House of Representatives.
The legislation, co-sponsored by Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Rep. Gabe Evans(D-CO), and Rep. Robin Kelly (D-IL), emphasizes the importance of foreign direct investment (FDI) from responsible, private-sector entities based in trusted countries to enhance U.S. economic prosperity, innovation, and security.
