
David Cano is the Current Director for Grassroot Operations for LIBRE in Texas and lives in San Antonio, TX. He is very passionate about building teams and people to be the best they can be. He is the youngest of 6 children. His parents Armando and Juventina Cano came to Texas from Mexico in 1970. He and his beautiful wife Rebecca have two girls, Niah and Gianna. He loves his family and friends and is extremely patriotic. His favorite quote is from JFK. “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”
David is a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer and Iraq/Afghanistan Combat Veteran and Medical Professional. He has lived in Japan for 5 years, Spain for 3 years, Italy for 2, Florida for 3, California for 2, the UK for 14 months, and has conducted major and complex operations in 21 countries. He loves traveling, sports, movies, and reading. He is extensively trained in Emergency and Preventive Medicine, National Security, Stress Management, and Leadership.
David is bilingual and holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University. He is scheduled to compete a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy from Liberty University in 2024. He holds numerous Medals and Citations from the US Navy and US Marine Corps and is a former Corporate fellow with the USAA Federal Savings Bank.
