Arlington, VA (10/25/24) – The LIBRE Initiative, the largest center-right Latino organization in the country, launched another round of digital ads as part of a $1.5M outreach campaign to the Latino community through the end of 2024. LIBRE advocates for more government accountability and changing the policies that prevent our vibrant Hispanic communities from reaching their full potential.
“Since its inception in 2011, LIBRE has invested in the Latino community advocating for a strong economy, good jobs, and affordable health.
We’ve been a resource for Hispanics to better understand what’s negatively impacting their daily lives like the current cost of high inflation and a weak economy. As a result, LIBRE has been successful at helping the Hispanic community embrace policies that expand freedom and opportunity so Latinos can achieve their version of the American Dream,” said Judy Pino Marketing Manager for The LIBRE Initiative.
The first ad released, “Prosperity is Possible,” takes place in a Latino grocery store in North Carolina where Latinos struggle to feed their families. The video features LIBRE’s Jeffrey Baldwin talking to shoppers who are now paying $58.08 more weekly for groceries to feed a family of four due to soaring inflation. “I can’t even remember the last time I ate meat because it’s so expensive,” explained one Hispanic shopper interviewed in the video. “La Prosperidad es Posible” (Prosperity is Possible) is a movement devoted to helping hardworking Latinos achieve economic prosperity in the U.S.
The second ad released, “Together, We Can Save the American Dream” highlights the sentiment amongst Latinos regarding top-of-mind preoccupations released in a poll conducted by The LIBRE Institute. According to the poll, “Young Latinos say they were better off just four years ago,” and “72% feel the country is headed in the wrong direction,” explains the video.
As part of this digital ad campaign, LIBRE plans to release two more videos by year’s end.
