The LIBRE Initiative to Host Financial Relief Event in Graham

December 8, 2023

n Sunday, December 10th at 1 p.m, The LIBRE Initiative, the largest center-right Latino organization in the country, will host a community empowerment event at La Plaza Latina grocery store in Graham to provide financial assistance to the Latino community there.

The first 100 families will receive a gift card for $59.08 to help alleviate the cost of goods.

The purpose of the event is to engage Latino families where they live. Community Empowerment events establish a dialogue with Latino families in Sanford to discuss how the current economy and rising inflation affects their family, and what tools they have access to that can help them get through these difficult times. It is important to note that close to 9% of North Carolina’s population is Latino.

The LIBRE Initiative is a strong defender of economic freedom. Hispanic families understand the transformative impact of rising costs and how it affects how they spend — or don’t — their hard-earned paychecks. The LIBRE Initiative is committed to empowering the Hispanic community.
