LIBRE Responds to Budget Legislation Passed by the House

LIBRE Executive Director Daniel Garza released the following statement: “While we are encouraged by the passage of these legislative initiatives, balancing the budget will not reduce the debt that has accumulated through wasteful spending. We now call on the Senate and the Administration to show leadership and avert the looming fiscal calamity our nation faces.
