LIBRE Participates in 2015 National School Choice Week Activities

(Washington, DC) – Last week, the LIBRE Initiative participated in events across the country in support of school choice because we know that when families choose, kids win! LIBRE staff and volunteers were at a rally with over 2,500 attendees at the State Capitol of Texas in Austin and with hundreds of others in the State Capitols from Denver, Colorado to Phoenix, Arizona. In South Florida, our team brought together 400 families for a summit on the benefits that school choice and charter schools offer to the Hispanic Community. The events were celebrated as a part of National School Choice Week. At LIBRE, we are hard at work to secure the power of Education al choice for our community.
