LIBRE Initiative Kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month with Denver Concert
Additional Events Planned Across the Country

(Washington, D.C.) – The LIBRE Initiative today sponsors a concert featuring internationally renowned artist Marcos Witt, at the Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, CO. With Hispanic Heritage Month set to begin on September 15, this event is the first of many held by The LIBRE Initiative across the nation. These events will pay tribute to the Hispanic community in the U.S. and their efforts to achieve the American Dream, as well as highlight the contributions Hispanics have made throughout the history of the United States, up to the present day.

Daniel Garza, Executive Director for The LIBRE Initiative released the following statement:

“The staff and volunteers of The LIBRE Initiative team are working on a number of Hispanic Heritage month events across the country, in all the states where we operate. We will be promoting citizenship, highlighting culture, and continuing to help build the next generation of Latino leaders. We will also be engaging Hispanics across the nation online about the steps they’re taking to #ClaimYourDream. As we continue our work to build a more prosperous Latino community, we look forward to working with local community partners in the month ahead.”
