The LIBRE Initiative Hosts Senator Marco Rubio as part of The LIBRE Forum Series
(Washington D.C.) –The LIBRE Initiative announced today that Senator Marco Rubio (FL) will be the guest at its second policy forum, a series titled The LIBRE Forum: Unlimited Opportunities in a Free Society. The LIBRE Forum will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, at St. Christopher Catholic School on October 10, 2015, and will provide an opportunity for the Hispanic community and others to pose questions about key issues that impact their day-to-day lives.
Daniel Garza, Executive Director for The LIBRE Initiative released the following statement:
“The staff and volunteers of The LIBRE Initiative are proud to present the second part of The LIBRE Forum, which launched with a packed house earlier this month. The great interest in these forums shows the thirst in the Latino community to hear from national policy makers about solutions that help strengthen the free market and increase prosperity. With people continuing to express a deep interest in key policy issues, we will continue to provide ways for the people to influence change. This is a space to discuss policies, the state of the nation and the direction we’re going. It was clear from the first forum that our community has a lot to say – and even more to ask.
Our Las Vegas event will feature Senator Marco Rubio speaking on the top issue priorities for the Hispanic community, which include the economy, education, healthcare, and immigration. I’m pleased that once again The LIBRE Initiative is able to help present this opportunity to our community, and that Senator Rubio has agreed to join us in The LIBRE Forum.”
