The LIBRE Initiative Celebrates Thanksgiving

(Washington, D.C.) – The staff and volunteers of The LIBRE Initiative offer their best wishes to all, as across America many gather with friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate Thanksgiving Day.

Daniel Garza, Executive Director of The LIBRE Initiative, released the following statement:

“The LIBRE Initiative joins with all Americans in the celebration of Thanksgiving Day. We take this time to reflect on the blessings provided in this great country, and the opportunities it offers us all. We give thanks for a nation that has spread a message of freedom, and has sought to help people around the world – of all backgrounds and ethnicities – to breathe free.

We also want to take this moment to thank all of our staff members and volunteers who have risen to the challenge of helping the Hispanic community in the U.S. This Thanksgiving holiday, The LIBRE Initiative partnered with community organizations to hold over a dozen events across the nation in major cities like: Miami, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, and San Antonio, where our team was able to hold dinners and food drives for our community. These efforts to build a stronger Hispanic community, and to promote the principles of freedom are helping America grow stronger. For all these things, we thank the Lord and pray every family is blessed on this day.”
