Facebook Live on COVID-19’s
impact on the Latino Community

(Atlanta, GA) – Yesterday, The LIBRE Initiative – GA, an organization committed to empowering the Hispanic community, hosted a Facebook Live to discuss COVID-19 and its impact on the Latino community in Georgia and across the country.

David Casas, P.h.D, community engagement director for the Georgia chapter of The LIBRE Initiative, moderated a Spanish language conversation with Dr. Antonio V. Baute, a physician with more than three decades of clinical experience, to discuss the unique challenges the Latino community is facing as a result of COVID 19.

 

The conversation was in Spanish and allowed participants to submit questions to the panel.

 

The LIBRE Initiative, is a national organization with a presence in more than thirteen states, and has plans to continue informing the Latino community about best practices to contain this global pandemic and how public policies that are being enacted will impact their daily lives.
