ICYMI: The LIBRE Initiative- FL Hosts Spanish Digital Townhall on COVID-19’s impact on the Latino Community

(Miami, FL) – Recently, The LIBRE Initiative-FL, an organization dedicated to empowering Hispanics, hosted a digital townhall to discuss COVID-19 and its impact on the Latino community with Dr. Daniel Carpman.

Hosted by Cesar Grajales, coalitions director of the Florida chapter of The LIBRE Initiative, and joined by Dr. Daniel Carpman, a South Florida doctor with more than 45 years practicing medicine.

The conversation was in Spanish and allowed participants to submit questions to the panel.

The LIBRE Initiative has plans to continue informing the Latino community about best practices to contain this global pandemic and how public policies that are being enacted will impact their daily lives.
