Arlington, VA – (August 27, 2024) Recently, Maverick PAC recognized The LIBRE Initiative’s executive director, Sandra Benitez, as a recipient of the 2024 Future40 Awards.
Maverick PAC’s recognition reflects Benitez’s ongoing commitment and leadership in shaping the freedom-minded movement’s future. This award underscores her dedication to the Latino community and to the fight to keep the American dream alive.
This Maverick Pac award highlights conservative young professionals considered rising stars in their industry. The Future40 award, presented annually, honors individuals who embody the next generation of leadership and influence.
About Sandra Benitez:
Sandra Benitez is the Executive Director for the LIBRE Initiative, she previously served at LIBRE from 2015-2016.
Sandra has a decade of experience in various policy, advocacy, and campaign roles, specializing in targeting the US Hispanic electorate. Her experience includes serving as the Executive Director of the US Hispanic vote on the 2020 presidential campaign, and as the Hispanic Engagement Director at the Republican National Committee during the 2018 midterm cycle.
Prior to this, Sandra served as the Director of Government Affairs and Policy at the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce where she advocated on behalf of 4.7M Hispanic small businesses. Sandra began her career in 2013 serving as the Director of Hispanic Initiatives for the RNC, helping Governor Chris Christie win 51% of the Hispanic vote during his reelection campaign in New Jersey. Most recently, Sandra served as the Director of Client Strategy at Targeted Victory.
Sandra holds a BA in Political Science from Ramapo College of New Jersey and resides in Arlington, VA.
