ICYMI: LIBRE Hosts Diverse Minority Business Leaders to Discuss The PRO Act

Pro-Act would negatively impact economic growth of Virginia businesses

(ARLINGTON, VA) –  Yesterday, The LIBRE Initiative-Virginia hosted a virtual townhall with the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, Virginia Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, to discuss the PRO Act, a piece of federal law legislation under consideration in the United States Senate.

The discussion explained the PRO Act and highlighted how minority businesses and independent contractors could be drastically affected by this harmful labor law.
