Senators, Representatives Oppose Drastic Cuts in Refugee Admissions
(Arlington, VA) – In the wake of an announcement by the administration that refugee admissions would be reduced to a record low of just 18,000 annually, 17 Members of the House of Representatives have written to Secretary of State Pompeo in support of expanding those admissions. This letter follows others that have been sent recently by Senators and Representatives in both parties, including a bipartisan letter signed by 18 United States Senators earlier this year.
