Governor DeSantis Signs Legislation to Increase Educational Opportunities in Florida

(Tallahassee, FL)— Today, Governor DeSantis signed Senate Bill 7070 into law, improving opportunities for Florida K-12 students. This legislation helps Florida families by creating a Family Empowerment Scholarship and addresses the lengthy waitlist for students trying to access an education that best meets their individual needs through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship.
