South Texas Field Director

Eli brings 20 years of experience in community affairs, where he served as a promotional coordinator for Christian concerts with recording artists and bands such as: Casting Crowns, Mercy Me and Newsboys, which have reached tens of thousands of people all across South Texas.

He continues to volunteer for local nonprofit organizations with community outreach projects focused on empowering Hispanic families through both faith-based and educational programs. In 2012, he joined Valley Christian Magazine as a Sales Director promoting local events and assisting with the day-to-day operations.

Today, Eli continues to work in the media industry operating his own radio show, “Jovenes Con Proposito” (Youth with Purpose), reaching over 25,000 listeners per day across the Rio Grande Valley. Eli has built a reputation in South Texas as a trusted resource for civic engagement and has become a leading voice in the community in reaching youth and families with a message of self-reliance and opportunity.

A motivational speaker and small business owner of a landscaping company, Eli knows firsthand the struggle and success of operating a business. He brings a wealth of experience and insight into his role in advancing a message of economic well-being for Hispanics and all Americans alike, by using his own story as a means to motivate others to become economically prosperous.

Eli joined The LIBRE Initiative in 2014 to work on grassroots endeavors and serves as a South Texas Field Director.
