Cristina Tuñón is a Cuban-American born and raised in Miami, FL. Cristina graduated from The Florida State University in Tallahassee with a double major in Political Science and International Affairs. After graduation Cristina pursued a yearlong Legislative internship with the Florida House of Representatives in the Office of the Majority Leader. At the conclusion of her Legislative internship she relocated to Washington, D.C. to attend graduate school at The George Washington University. Before joining the LIBRE team, Cristina interned with Congressman Southerland and began her studies at the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration. At the conclusion of her internship, Cristina joined the LIBRE Initiative's Virginia office as the Communications Assistant. Cristina is excited to be part of a team that spreads the message of small government and economic freedom.
