As The LIBRE Initiative Tampa Field Director, Jeandelize Burgos mobilizes volunteers and organizes events to service the Hispanic community of Pinellas and Hillsborough County.
Jeandelize was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Her family relocated to New Jersey in the mid 1990’s and later moved to Florida, the state she has since called home for over fifteen years.
Jeandelize graduated from Southeastern University with a B.A. in English and Multicultural Studies, along with a Minor in Spanish and Theology. During her time there, she volunteered for campus outreach programs such as Feed the Need and The Forum: National Leadership Conference.
Jeandelize also holds a masters in International Politics and Public Administration from Regent University’s Robertson School of Government. While there, she worked as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the University’s Global Affairs Department. Jeandelize's time at Regent also allowed her to study Immigration and Family Law at Oxford University, as well as complete The Leadership Institute’s International School Fundraising for Non-Profits and Campaigns in Berkshire, UK.
In addition to work at LIBRE, Jeandelize is as an active member of Iglesia Fuente de Agua Viva and is currently aiding in the relaunching of Operacion Bendicion, a ministry devoted to helping local community by providing public services and a full time operational food bank.
