The LIBRE Initiative Congratulates Justice Gorsuch

(Washington, D.C.) – Today the United States Senate voted to confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.

Daniel Garza, President of The LIBRE Initiative, released the following statement:

“Judge Neil Gorsuch is highly qualified to serve on the Supreme Court, and the Senate was right to confirm him to that office today. He was confirmed without opposition by the U.S. Senate for the U.S Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and served there for more than 10 years. He distinguished himself with his service on that court, as well as in the Department of Justice and in private practice. His demonstrated commitment to interpreting the law and the Constitution consistent with original intent, and without any agenda, will serve the interests of the Latino community and the nation at large. We thank the members of the United States Senate who voted for his confirmation today.”
